CA sales from outside state
Can anyone from CA enlighten me on whether I can ship a SW4506 3rd gen auto loader to a an individual in CA through my FFl to his FFL?
A less specific question is what general restrictions are there on CA sales from outside of state?

Any weapon shipped into California must go through an FFL on your end that has authorization and approval from the Cali. DOJ to ship the weapon in to a authorized FFL.
Each weapon must have approval prior to shipping.

That is interesting that the 3rd gen 9 and .45's 59** , 40**and 45** are only legal if they are TSW variations. Go figure.
Thanks for the info.

Along those lines, you can ship a S&W 686, but not the more evil Blue 586 to Cali.

The handgun "not too unsafe" roster is a money grab pure & simple. Companies pay the extortion and provide 2 samples for "testing." If they pay the vig every year, an out of production gun stays on the roster. Most companies don't want to do that.
The models are pretty specific. One gun in stainless might be on the roster but the exact same stainless gun with black coating won't be.
The sad part is that a lot of gun owners here still think these laws are "stupid" and the anti gun lawmakers are idiots. Well, they're travelling around in G5s, we're paying for it and I can't go down to the LGS & buy an SR1911. Doesn't sound like they are all that stupid.
