Default fixer uppers

Is there any places out there, to buy fixer upper guns anymore?
I recall buying a 5" Colt Army Special back in the mid 90's.
I think I got it from J&G sales?
I remember paying less than $100, for it. I had to scrounge around the gunshop I worked at, but I found the parts (mostly springs and the sideplate). We gave it a parkerized type finish and it came out lookin really good!
Then for some really stupid reason (those are my only reasons).. I sold it for a nice profit a few days later...
I really liked that 5" barrel....

ciao y'all
reuben....

Bought this "old" Wards Western Field .410 at a pawn shop for $80 OTD. Made a fun little project for a day or two.

I like those low tech projects on older guns......
I picked this one up cheap years ago, but haven't actually done anything to it....yet..
I has a cracked stock and butt plate and somebody cut and turned the barrel a bit (for an adjustable choke probably)... no front bead either..
But heck it still works on grouse!
Who says you can't buy a good shotgun for $25 anymore?.....

I have at least three sitting in the garage awaiting work. Two Turk Mausers and an Arisaka for starters and I also have a Yugo Mauser that looks too tight at the tang that needs fettling. I need a small parts for an Enfield and I have a CZ52 pistol in bits in a box for which I must get an updated firing pin.

Those are the ones I can remember.
