I'm working down here in Conn. for a bit, so how do I spend my spare time. Visiting gun shops and gun shows. So I drive 65 miles yesterday morning to Waterbury. I'm from a small town so I roll into town with no cash and a wallet full of plastic. Figuring I'd stop at an ATM along the way. I'm on the right exit right street but can't find the show. I'm downtown looking for a drive up ATM and a convention ctr full of guns. Can't find either. Starting to get off the beam and see a State Trooper and ask him where the show is at and a ATM. He says we don't have many of those too many robbery's. So I get to the show in a hotel ask for the ATM it's junk. I go to the door show my credit card the lady says CASH only. Thats when my day changed for the better, This guy I've never seen offers me a 20 dollar bill and his address to get it back to him. I'm dumbfounded. I thank him and enter the show. I made a few good contacts to follow up on later as the traffic was overwelming. But when I got home I was thinking how there are good people left in this world and put $30 in an envlope and sent it to him. Turned out to be a good day! Thanks to all and to all a good night!

Bob I've been to that show in the past. I was very disapointed at the time. Not too far from there is a pretty good gun shop I frequent a lot. Its just over the mountain a few miles in Wolcot on rt. 69 called Sportsmans Outpost. If you can check out Hoffmans on the north side of the Berlin tpke. or the Newington Gun Exchange in Market Square off rt 175 just a few miles from Hoffmans.
