Default CHAMP drone

I have reached the end of the internet today and ran across the story of this new drone that is getting tested. Very scary that it is so precise!! I have read a lot of the electronic magnetic pulse and the results of a EMP attack on the US.

There was a program on the Military channel this week about the new "high tech" weapon platforms which included this one along with laser and plasma weapon platforms. Was a very interesting program. Sorry I can't recall the name of the program - either was "Ultimate weapons" or "Weaponology"

It is a bit more high tech than the old system that threw carbon fibre filaments over the power grid. Nobody wanted to talk about that when it was used in Serbia but the power station guy holding u[p handfuls of the stuff for the press was a bit hard to deny.

This technology is the realisation of the original British scheme in the 1930s for a death ray to be used against bombers. Turned out that it could not be done back then, but a smart chap called Watson-Watt noticed that it was quite good at detecting aircraft.

What I am afraid of is when they develop an EMP device that can knock out the target area but not have an explosive device to cause it. If this drone test actually works then how do we keep that technology from the bad guy's hands?? I watched the movie "Fatman and LittleBoy" about the Manhattan Project. I did not realize the amount of effort they took to keep it Top Secret, did not help, the Russians got the info from their "Inside Spies".

I wish they'd test this technology on every "television" source, stateside, on a regular basis --- our collective IQ, student test scores, literacy rate, and etc. might thus be improved...
