I've got a small Jack Russell female who has a problem with warts. Fortunately, none are in her mouth or around her eyes. We had two particularly bad ones removed a year or so ago, when she had her teeth cleaned. Both came back. They don't seem to bother her except every now and then one of them will bleed and then seems to hurt.

I have seen a bunch of ads for homeopathic and other so called removal remedies for dogs. All have claims that make me really suspicious.

Our vet says the only reliable way to remove them is surgically, but that didn't work the first time. Also says don't worry about them as they are benign. But since they bleed sporadically, I do worry about secondary infections and they seem to bother her.

Anybody had any luck with any treatments?

Don't know if it will work on your pup , but it did on me. Put a piece of duct tape on thewart. I swear it works. Google it. Probably get chewed off by pup. It cuts off oxygen to the wart or some such. Took about two weeks two years ago. Still
Wart free.

I've had 2 warts in my life and that wart remover stuff at the drugstore worked on both of em.

My deceased aunt, a country witch doctor, had me put milkweed juice on some warts I had on my hand as a kid. A few weeks of treatment, the warts disappeared & never returned. Kind of late in the season for milkweed, but starving the oxygen sounds like a good approach, maybe with a dab of Elmer’s glue?

From what I know about warts they are a fungus. I have been told to wash warts with apple vinegar 3-4 times a day. Vinegar is supposed to be a anti fungal, anti bacterial,anti viral, I use it to clean cutting boards kills everything and is safe around food. .2$
