Factory Letter...How Long?

I sent a factory letter request to Smith & Wesson on August 31, was wondering how long the typical wait is, anyone know?

Usually runs 6 to 8 weeks, but Roy has been away on vacation and should have been returning just before, or just about the arrival of Sandy. Things might be a bit delayed.

Thanks for the info, i'm sure Sandy will cause some delay, just curious about the normal turn around, didn't know Mr. Jinks was the only one doing them, not that I would want someone else to do them....

Because of present circumstances I wouldn't be surprised at 3+ months for the near future.
