shot a nice 7 pointer tonight. The ole T/C barked again tonight. shot him in the drop zone. broke his neck and front left shoulder. No dragging. thats a bonus

Always a bonus when you don't have to
drag them far. My hunting buddy has a
Polaris "ranger" that he can drive to about any
deer that we are lucky enough to get down.
What caliber is your TC ??
I shoot a T/C Encore, it is a .50 cal, I used the T/C 200 grain Shockwave bullet, with 125 grains by volume of Black horn. 5 grains over the recommended. Bullet is estimated around 2600 F.P.S. Please explain Position A shot?
Just a phrase: meaning (right where you want to hit them) right behind the shoulder or in the shoulder. Quick dispatch usually when hit there as
you have both lungs taken out or if on the shoulder will usually break them down. Good shot !!
