Planned 2013 purchases
Well I plan to stray from the path of perfection and buy some Colts next year provided finances are stable. I't doesn' pay to leave money in the bank these days. I will be looking for Troopers, a Lawman III and another New Service in 44-40. As always a Marlin in 41 mag remains at the top of my list along with another model 610 if I can find one at a reasonable price, maybe a nice model 57 to pair with my model 58. Anyway those are the plans but who knows what 2013 holds for me.

I'm afraid I "over achieved" in 2012 and the year still isn't over. I added several items to the collection this past year that I have been trying to find for some time.
Don't know how I'm going to do in 2013 but still looking for a M-52, a 952 and an early M-41. Also want to FINALLY buy a nice 1006 as both a collection piece as well as occasional shooter.
Over on the revolver side theres ALWAYS something to finally buy or to upgrade an existing piece. Always something of interest to tempt me.

I don't plan on acquiring more guns. That being said if one should get my attention and talk me into taking it home, that is a different story. I have been known to let myself be talked into taking a gun home. I have been taking my meds regularly to control voices.

If I win the half billion in the lottery tonight, I'm going to buy several Congresscritters. If not, then whatever I can afford when the mood strikes me.

The way it's looking I'll be the proud owner of higher taxes. Waiting to see these eggs hatch before I count any chickens in 2013.

What novalty says. Once inflation hits the real value will be in hard goods, and since I can't afford gold, Smith & Wesson is the next best thing!

I will be looking for a Target Masterpiece, with the fishook hammer. A nice Colt Pocket Positive, and Model 1903 .32. If I can bring myself to accept what they bring these days, a Model 650, and a Winchester 42 Field Gun.

Always looking for S&W 39s in variations that I don't have. Wouldn't mind another Darne or Charlin to join my 28 gauge Darne and 12 gauge, very plain, Charlin. However I'll take what comes along.

As an uncle of mine told me years ago "Buy DIRT, they ain't makin it any more". There are 300 acres for sale next to my farm. But at $1500 an acre I have to win the Powerball to even think about buying more dirt.
On the must have list for 2013 is a new truck and a new deer rifle in 270 Win.

I had planned to buy a CZ75, a couple of .22 rifles, some flavor of 1911, a Model 10. Unfortunately, my lottery winnings met expectations, so my plans will have to be pared way back.

I honestly don't think I've ever "planned" the purchase of a firearm. I just take 'em as they come.
