Default They take our guns, then protect us?

While all the excitement is going on about more restrictive gun control I started thinking about a few overlooked facts.
As most of us know, the school, mall and churches were "gun free zones".In 2 or 3 cases the attacks were broken up my civilians who armed themselves after the attack started.
Now, just remember that we lost soldiers at Ft. Bragg,Ft. Hood, in Iraq and Afganastan in situations where troops were unarmed in the US and believe it or not armed troops carried EMPTY weapons as ordered from above as they were training Iraqi and Afgan troops!!Does this make you wonder if our higher-ups are suffering from Hoplophobia(fear of weapons)?
When in Israel a few years ago troops were everywhere and many civilians were packing. An acquaintance asked "weren't you afraid?".I replied "he'll no,I wanted one for myself".
The time is here to write letters and join NRA and G O A.
Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom
