Who was the first few members to join SW-Forum?
Not sure when this site first popped up but I think it was around 2000. Kind of wondering if the first dozen or so that came on board back then are still members or still alive and who are they?
I joined in July 2003 and there were a lot of members by that time. Not sure how I found the site but I think it was when I just bought my first SW pistol and was doing some research on the 9mm.
Heck, I can't even remember the orginal owners name, I do know he had a big Eagle for his photo,,,scary looking. But not as scary as the big Gorilla!

He goes by "parabellum" and still owns the Sigforum, if I am thinking of the right guy. I think I belonged to the older version of the forum before it was moved to the server before the current one, but I doubt before about 2005.

I also came on in 2003, back in the good old days when you had to "kick start" your computer.

Those were the good ole' days:
FOR SALE- FIRST YEAR 4 Inch .44MAG , 98% in Black box $900 shipped.
Up until 2002 or so we all loaded up. We also traded 1950 Targets & .38/44 Outdoorsman quite a bit. HEY ! These three are still very popular.
Sweet Dreams.....dewey- March 2000

Dewey was the reason I joined. I'd stumbled upon the site and book marked it to return. I actually joined sigforum first, but had been lurking at both for a few months. Then I started seeing Dewey giving what I felt were really good answers to some questions.
The early crew of sprey and the Reaper and Harvester were a lot of fun. Just like now, there's a side group that talks from time to time via email.

Does anyone know what became of Victor Louis?
I had to ask him about the name, which seemed familiar. He called himself after a famous French architect.
I think I was here well before the stated 2005 of my current posts, but lost my identity somehow in an electronic glitch and had to rejoin. My computer went down about then.

DaSnake? or is it DeSnake? He was one of the funniest guys on this site. Now a retired Canadian fireman with no time on his hands to play on SWF.

Thanks JOERM, but I'm not a flyer, just a fan of the best aircraft ever built. What's not to love about a flying cannon???
