Lightbulb Back on da ice

Well - As I'm sure each and every one of you has anticipated for quite some time now - The lockout is over
Time for some Pro NHL Ice Hockey

OTOH - I absolutely believe that NOT ONE PERSON should attend any opening home game this *season*.

I have no idea how to encourage a boycott but someone should....

I would say that every Bruin and NHL fan should protest the owner of the Bruins and Gary Bettmen and present Broad of Governors as to their failed unfair labor practice's. Once he (Jacobs) was removed from the negotiating things turned around.
Nothing the against Bruin's or there fans just stating facts. Even though there's a new CBA there's alot of bad Blood between the Players, Commissioner, and present Broad of Governors. Something gotta change there (Commissioner, Broad of Gov.) They have done alot of damage to the NHL. Oh yeah they want to add 2 (two) more teams!! what a joke, they need to contract 6-8 failing teams.

i'm excited, but i agree, there needs to be a boycott of some sort. unfortunately, that affects people that had no control over it what was going on and that is not fair to them.

They need to hear what the fans think of all this. All pro sports need to hear it. The players are very skilled but it is a game! This is big business corporations. Entertainment!! We have survived through all the strikes that the NFL NBA NHL and MLB have had. Players and owners need to understand.

A pox on both (management and players) their houses. I've been an avid hockey fan for over 40 years, and played a fair bit as well, and their lack of SA as it relates to what the average joe is dealing with economically has lead me to a screw 'em both mindset. I wish they'd show up for their first game back and realize they're about to play to an arena full of empty seats.
Unfortunately, fat chance of that.
Luckily, there's been quality Junior Hockey to be had that has filled the void quite nicely.
Go Winterhawks!

I think a first game boycott sounds like a great idea.
