Thumbs up Spring City, Utah City Council Recommends It's Citizens Arm Themselves

This is refreshing...a town council that voted and got a unanimous decision to recommend to its townfolk to arm themselves, and get the requisite firearms training. The council also voted to subsidize the cost of training for those teachers who decided to purchase handguns. While this idea has nothing to do with crime statistics, seeing as the town has less than 1000 citizens, it's a step in the right direction when it comes to a citizens right to armed self defense., and a government that supports that concept.

A big Bravo Zulu to Spring City.

Default Gun Free?-No!!

Gotta love these people in Utah. ;-). I can just see any 'gangbanger/loonies' who reads of this crossing Spring City off their list and looking for the Gun Free sites for their 'shooting adventures'.

I think Utah is #1 on the Brady Center list for "worst" gun laws.
