Well last night we got word at work that a gunman was on the loose at our local college. All students and the NURSING HOME across the road were on lockdown and everyone from state police swat local PD everyone you can think of responded. after a few hours a student came forward and said it was all a hoax, what is wrong with these idiots.

Jail time for the idiot.

I have a problem with this whole lockdown concept. I have no desire to be held captive against my will and I think we are all entitled to do what we feel is necessary to get out of a dangerous situation. Rather than cower in a corner I would like to get out of there.

I recall a "lockdown" at a school here a few years ago.
A teacher reported a "man with a rifle" in the woods.

Turned out it was the janitor raking leaves.

A school near my house had a lock down a few days after Sandy Hook. The report was "man with black rifle". Turned out to be a man with one of those large black umbrellas slung over his shoulder . It was raining that day! :banghead:

To beat it all, the kid was a psychology major. He wasnt really from around here, he was from martinsville which is about 2 hours up the road. sad sad day.

More on this story, apparently the kid was angry because the campus police arrested him for hitting his girlfriend. he was upset over the arrest so figured he would "get back at them" by calling in a shooter on campus.

I'm having a bigger problem with the allegation that he beat up his girlfriend than I am with the hoax.

Lock him up. He's clearly a candidate to steel a black rifle and a few semi auto pistols and wreak havoc on some community. Time to be proactive on these unbalanced, twisted, spoiled punks. He's proven he's all about paybacks and revenge and not grounded in reality.

Let's not allow the left to use him as a poster child for gun control after his next stunt. And let's not subject ourselves to have to hear the experts say "he slipped through the cracks". Put him away and eliminate the risk.
