In the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson are the listed values for the guns only for the gun by itself?
For example, an "ANIB" price for a revolver is $900... would that estimated value include the box, paperwork etc. OR just the gun alone.
I ask primarily for valuing prewar era revolvers, which may not have their matching box and all of their goodies...as I know some of the vintage boxes can be worth hundreds of dollars by themselves. Basically trying to figure out how much to value everything else aside from the gun. Thank you for any insight.
And I know the prices are a little dated and not an exact price but more of a dealer estimate.
