Default For a fleeting moment I almost

turned chicken and didn't renew my Curio & Relic license I have had for many years. I wondered, very briefly, if this was a road map to my place for the "Brownshirts"? Maybe thought about it for 5 seconds max. To old to turncoat now. Wonder how many folks are wantin to hide though? Its in the mail to the Gubmint once more. If you buy a huntin license they probably can figure you may have a gun. I have nothing to hide or be shameful about. I am a law abiding collector of fine guns that have provided me with 60 plus years of fine times. Only hope my kids can enjoy them as much as I have.

There's no anonymity on the interwebs either.

We're all logged. Not to mention our NRA and other affiliations too.

I'm not going to bother to renew mine, but only because I don't use it for anything anymore. Haven't for years.

I am thinking it may prove advantageous in the future if the background check expansion becomes a reality. if the gun is old enough I can take it in on my license instead of a check through a regular FFL. Probably won't ever use it again either Cajunbass. But maybe, ya never know. I look for license fees to become outta sight. The powers that be do not want little fish in the pond of FFL licenses. I am afraid the LGS may become a thing of the past before too long. It will be a shame if only the big survive. Half the fun of guns is the birds I have met over the many years. Oh well-----
