Default grip making

I'm looking for either someone who makes grips, or where I can get a computer controlled router to cut my own.

I have a stash of really nice wood and am interested in creating my own grips.

Thanks

Chuck

I have a shark pro cnc (it's the one sold by rockler). I'm currently about 5K deep, and need to spend another $1500 to upgrade my software to do 3d cuts. My cnc is a small 3 axis unit. If you want a larger, better, or 4+ axis unit, expect to pay 20k+. That will buy a lot of grips. I use mine mainly for signs/furniture parts. I have cut some blanks, and then hand cut the profile. I just have to make a little more side money to pay for it.

As for someone who makes grips, Keith Brown is a true artist. Also a fellow on the board, Kurac. Also another fellow on the board, Patrick Gresham. Dan Collins is a talented grip maker. Paul Persinger as well, although I think he works only in ivory. Nutmeg Sports, Jim Alamo....

Etcetera.

Lotta talent out there.
