Default Armored vehicles

I just read where Dept of Homeland Security has received 2,7017 MRAPs (Mine Resistent Ambush Protected) armored vehicles from the Army. I sure hope they are going to use these vehicles to protect our southern border.

More like the city limits of D.C. and Chicago.

If you look out the window and see armored govt vehicles patrolling the streets, it's a bit late to get concerned. The poop has already hit the prop, and you best hunker down, locked, loaded, and ready for the end of the world as we know it.

The number is 2,717 vehicles. Google MRAPs - DHS. It is well documented and DHS is not hiding the number.

I'm working about 4 miles from the Rio Grande, haven't seen any of those yet. Have been seeing some cool white and green Ford Raptors though! Plus every now and then DHS's helicopter herding some illegals like cattle.

They assemble them In West Point, MS. Keep those orders coming as it's good for the local economy.

IIRC the DHS are getting these because the Army found that they were not as mine resistant as they had hoped.

Possibly. And the fact is, the MRAP is an ugly enough vehicle there would never be a place for it in a garrison army. Many good ideas get left in theater.
I think the plan was for many of the MRAPs to go away when the drawdowns in Iraq and Afghanistan happened. Just wait til every podunk force has one for the good old boys to play with.

Over in houston a few weeks ago they had a practice drill at a close down school. Little birds flying overhead, guns going off. Put a few schools on lockdown. Did not warn anybody ahead of time. I always see "attack helicopters" flying near my house. Not sure why they do but who knows. I do not so much fear the armored vehicles, now if they have attack helicopters prowling us we stand no chance.

With the cartels basically declaring war on the Border Patrol and DEA I'm glad to see that someone is finally getting some testicles in that agency.

I think we need to keep going until we get to the other side of the Panama Canal. That would be a manageable border to protect.
Ole!

I don't think we need to absorb any more from down south. Even if it means expanding the map.

Think about Red and Blue states and get back to me when you can visualize the new expanded map.

Actually, they are the new Dunkin Donuts delivery vehicles -- need donuts to go with all those bullets, guns and uniforms

and that way, your donuts don't get hijacked or "shuffled" by an IED
