New carry pistol
It's not a Smith but I love it. Can't find a shield around here. Stopped at my buddies shop yesterday to pick up my wifes new .380 and ended up taking this home as well.

I don't have a shield but I do have a 9c. The Sig has the same or less recoil and muzzle flip than the M&P. Very accurate right out of the box. With the 9c I have a tendency of pulling the gun to the right when the trigger breaks. With the sig i don't do that. The sig is DAO and hbas restrike capability.
BTW, I love the nite sights on it.

I think the accuracy has alot to do with the barrel slide lockup also. The end of the barrel is very belled and the slide matches.

Nice little CCW, but dang, it does have an extra long trigger pull.

Galloway Precision is working on an adjustable trigger so that will help alot. Doesn't bother me too much though.

I have a P290, too. Tried using it for CCW, but the mag release has a high profile and would release the mag while carrying. So I relegated it to the truck.
Still a very nice compact 9mm. But when I fire it at the range, that DAO trigger doesn't take long to wear my finger out.
