I like the yoga that has the fruit at the bottom! Tasty. Also, there is no try.

I love yogurt...especially the new Greek yogurt; vanilla bean is my fave.

I have taken a laxative once in a while, as I don't like yogurt.

"Sure, and may the ground rise up to meet you as you go!"

A self-fulfilling wish, to judge from the interaction between terra firma and forward progress among my many Celtic relatives and colleagues.

I have just began to research yoga a bit. Not for its health aspects but lately I have read christians claim it is dangerous stuff to get into as it comes from or is part of the hindu religion. I noticed a huge change in my daughter lately and at the same time found out she has studied yoga and teachs it in a huge gym. We had a falling out over something I wont get into and thats when I began to research it just lately. I am not sure yet, but I suspect her getting into yoga might well be the root of our split. Any informed input here from other christians?

I didn't take yoga Sip, perhaps it was the Park Ranger or Boo Boo finally snapped and slipped some mickeys in a pic-a-nick-a basket.

But then, Sip, where were you when yoga went missing?

Merrill, I'm sorry to learn of tensions in the family, but I suspect that yoga may be a symptom of tension here rather than a cause of it. I have known several sincere and devoted Christians over the years who have practiced yoga for its health benefits and found nothing in it that challenged their Christian beliefs.

That said, I have also come across yoga enthusiasts who have experienced such a strong perception of increased well-being after starting yoga that they become almost intolerable in their advocacy. In that regard they are no different from marathon runners or triathlon competitors or any other passionate follower of a standardized course of physical and mental improvement. For these people questions of underlying faith almost seem not to be involved at all.

I will hold good thoughts for you and your daughter, and I hope that whatever stresses there are may be soon resolved.
