Tomorrow is the first day of my boss' annual "shoot-o-rama" where 15 - 20 of us drive to his property (130+ acres) for a weekend of camping, fishing in his private bass-stocked pond, and shooting on a 25, 100, and 425 yard range. I'm packed and ready to go, just waiting for the storm to blow through and I'll leave first thing in the morning. Needless to say, I'm not going into the office.

I don't have any jobs lined up for tomorrow, so I'll sleep in and then maybe do some restocking of parts. The weather isn't going to be the best so I'll probably watch The Two Towers extended edition at some point. It'll be a rough day...

I'm still waiting for somebody to remove his head from a smelly portal and sign papers so I can return to work.

I'm retired and still in good health, so every day that I can get out of bed, put two feet on the floor and stand vertical is a good day!

I'm semi retired. I started an appliance repair business out of my 'home office'.
Been slow this week, so I scheduled a moto trip with a friend.
Leaving the house @ 9a and heading across the Golden Gate Bridge up 101 to hwy 37 and picking him up in Vallejo, then up Silverado Trail to Clear Lake and we'll catch hwy 20 all the way out to my sister's in Grass Valley.
Bivouac at a Motel 6 or a B&B, then return Saturday.
Bussman's holiday.

Now that the stormy weather has cleared out my riding partner and I have to fire up our Harley's and ride aimlessly through three or four of our nearby rural counties amid blue skies and the greening fields and woodlands of spring. Of course it's not as easy as it sounds. We still have to decide where we must stop for our obligatory friedcatfish lunch. It will be rough but we'll manage somehow.

It didn't take me too many years to learn that cold-calling on Friday is a waste of time. All a prospect is thinking about is the weekend. Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday is the ticket. Oh,on Monday they're pissed because it's.........well,Monday.

Life takes many turns. Two years ago I was working, now I'm laid up and can't work. Never thought I'd miss working, but some days I wish I had a job to go do for the day. Can a guy retire from being disabled?

I worked 16 hours Monday, 19 hours Tuesday, 8 hours Wednesday and 10 today. As much as I'd like to goof off tomorrow, I'll be working...

I think I'll get up early again and get my coffee then go outside and wave to all the people that are going to work. They all wave back although some of them don't use all their fingers.
