Free shotguns for residents in high crime areas.
I saw this on Fox News. Of course the liberals have their lacy knickers in a wad over it. Residents of Tuscon can get a free shotgun to defend their homes. They must take a safety course.

Why should they? It WAS the advice given by the Libs No 2 man, Joe Biden.
They (the residents) could even fire from their balcony or through closed doors and not be held accountable for following the advice of the man who is a heartbeat away from the "nuclear button".
What I would like to know is why are Single Women's and homeowners' lives more worthy of defending than say a married male renting?

Couldn't they just use a pen to defend themself. Seem to remember Colorado State Senator Jesse Ulibarri (D) sugested this.

I'd recommend against them using Biden as a guest lecturer in the training program. His advice is likely to get people arrested. Then again, he'd probably view that as a feature, not a bug.

I think what some of the anti gun left (there is a pro gun left) are afraid of is this idea will show a reduction of crime in the neighborhoods where the guns are given out and a rise in other neighborhoods. That will be awkward to explain away.
I wonder how many will be quickly pawned and the money spent on booze and tobacco.
