Default Odd way to treat a terror suspect

Is it me or is something strange going on here? First there were reports of this Saudi National being questioned about the bombings. Then came news of him being deported because of security concerns. On Hannity the other night we found out that the Saudi's made an unscheduled visit with BO and MO visited suspects in the hospital. Why would she visit someone whom is to be deported on security concerns? And now Beck is going to announce something on Monday in regards to this whole thing:

If Beck knows something why wait until Monday? Put it out on the table, right now. Come on. Show your cards.

"Calling the president out" on a national radio show is very serious business to me. I for one am very curious as to what will be said on Monday.

How is it a conspiracy? Are these not facts or is the media telling us lies?

It might be that it's a little more involved than "moonbat conspiracy". It may just be real conspiracy that most don't want to acknowledge.

Let me see now. It's been eight months since the attack on U.S. property and personnel in Benghazi and we know all about........wait, no we don't. There were quite a few people who lived through that debacle and we've heard nothing from them about what happened over there during and after. I wonder why? I'm certain that no one would actually attempt to sneak a Saudi national back to his country if he is well connected over there, and here. Even though he might have some knowledge of the Boston Marathon bombings no one would do that......right?

Even if the linked info is true America likes its oil too much to do anything about it except post a couple of US scapegoats to Nome to run a honey truck.

That may be so, but making information public instead of playing the political support game is supposed to be the realm of the "free" press, which seems to have taken sides and refuses to report anything that isn't along the "Tea Party Angry White Male is the perpetrator" line, and "Islam is a religion of peace" parody.

Beck supposedly has the proof of what he is asserting, and I for one applaud him for trying to expose the truth. Maybe it will wake up a few more people to what is going on in "Rome" and shake them out of their stupor. At some point critical mass will be reached, and anything that contributes to that is a good thing.

I kinda hope he's not playing poker with a bluff hand.
So many actions of this administration leave facts that take less stretching to conform to tinfoil hat theories than it does to explain them to official legitimacy.
If Beck has the stuff to light a fire under an investigation, keep the heat on it long enough to burn through the admins firewall, then perhaps we may get to wake up from this nightmare.

In my opinion, Glen Beck is a money grubbing gas bag, who would sell his mother to make a buck. Glen Beck would not know the truth if it bit him in the ***.

The fact that the folks in Washington and the liberal media are constantly trying to portray Beck as some kind of nut job actually gives him some credibility. We have been lied to so often by the powers that be and their liberal media lap dog so much for the last five years that I have to actually hunt for opinions from the conservative/libertarian side of the world because they keep getting swept under the rug. The progressives have taken over the government, the media, and the majority of the educational institutions even though the majority of our population consider themselves right of center. Now they want our guns so when they attain total control they will have no resistance. These folks obviously don't like this country and want to transform it into one that won't work and never has. You only have to look at those at the top and the people they have appointed to figure out what the agenda is and it's not pretty. I'll be waiting to see what Beck has.

don't know that I'd go THAT far but I don't subscribe to the opposing view of the man either.

in this case, the president and first lady dropped by to pay a visit to a Saudi national who was tagged as a person of interest.
Not only that, they gave him a ticket home on national security grounds.
... this guy, out of over 170 casualties, gets the honor of a presidential visit?
I've never heard of any president making face time with anyone who'd even remotely be possible of being an enemy of this nation.
This, at the very least, has the appearance of impropriety, that should not be thrown off just because we may believe the messenger to be a whack job.

a cursory examination of these facts would fit an inside job theory quite easily.

No, obviously Beck is just after money! If he is lying the truth will out eventually. If not,a lot will say it's a tin foil conspiracy because they have nothing else to back it up. Put the shoe on your foot. Prove he is lying instead of throwing BS grenades. He doesn't ask anyone to believe him off the cuff without doing their own investigation. So don't believe him if it makes you feel better and, I'm sure it will. If he is telling the truth I am also sure there will be no apologies forthcoming. Just more BS.

Words fail me in describing Glenn Beck. Let's just say we'll revisit this in 24 hours, if not for the facts at least for the entertainment.

Beck hasn't said anything about an "inside" job. What he has questions about is why a Saudi national who was implicated in the BOS bombings has been given a deportation order vice being held in custody. This after the POTUS met with a representative of the Saudi government. The questions deserve an answer, but none are forthcoming from the administration, and in fact, the administration's representative Janet Napolitano, has avoided questions IRT this individual given to her by a member of the House from NC. This looks like another whitewash of Saudi Wahabbist involvement in an act of terror on US soil, just like 9/11/01.

I just love the folks who never listen to or watch Glenn Beck who really have no clue and are so knowlegable about what he says. How do I know that? Why you can tell by what they spout about him with second hand information secure in all of the divine knowledge of a skydiver without a parachute who knows where he is going to touch down. I'm sure the pre-flight area has a coffee machine with a hot cup of **** that should be taken advantage of.

I find Beck oddly entertaining when he's not crying. I wouldn't bet the farm on anything he plans for tomorrow, however. He always has some earth shattering revelation scheduled for "tomorrow". He also advertises for Cheaper than Dirt. That alone makes one question his credibility.

I have not read anything anywhere that details the firearms used by the bombers. I find that curious.

If a man has something to convey and the facts to back it up than step up and say it. The teasing sound bites and offers to reveal the goods at a later date do nothing to enhance a person’s credibility.

LOL, the media is always accurate, always tells the truth (the whole truth), and never, ever puts a slant on things to gain ratings.

If you believe that, then I also have recently come into possession of the deed to the Brooklyn bridge and would be happy to sell it to you for a small investment.

You know... I can see where you're going with this and agree more or less. The problem is that I've seen and heard him say things that just make me twitch at the idiocy.

Certainly not everything he says, but enough that I can't take him as either impartial or anything other than the animal that he is.

Hi Old Bear,
I'd like to know from you and all those who "Liked" your post.
Would you acknowledge it if Beck is telling the truth?
Would the same information have more credibility if it came from Rachel Maddow?
I don't see how anyone can look at what has happened, who was involved ,what security status they have and can deny there is a stink of feces in the air.
No offense meant, just an observation and question.
Thanks
Mike

I listen to Beck for a couple of hours this morning and I to would like the answers to those questions he was asking.

And who are those guys you see in pictures around the site of the bomb blasts with the black ball caps and large black backpacks?

I don't see how anyone can look at what has happened, who was involved ,what security status they have and can deny there is a stink of feces in the air.
No offense meant, just an observation and question.

Since you asked, I agree with Old Bear. Having said that, why is it when someone criticizes people like Glenn Beck they are immediately linked to believing in Rachel Maddow? Is it possible we obtain our news from various sources and find the truth in facts? Innuendo, supposition, and rumors seem to be the basis for the opinions of many people on this forum. Show us the facts, the evidence, the proof of these allegations, no matter from Beck or Maddow, or Blitzer. Lack of trust in the government shouldn't translate into the truth of a rumor, or a twisting of facts.

Glenn Beck is simply the John Stewart of the right... except he's not funny and a lot of people don't realize he's a joke.

which is what Im trying to do as best I can ... render it down to its facts and work from there.
Theres no point in shooting the messengers even though they may mostly dissolve after hosing away most of the BS, some more than others.
the fact is, a Saudi national, who was picked up as a person of interest, with a terrorist status on his file (later removed) is being deported after a presidential visit on grounds of national security.
This individuals visa allowed him to attend school in Ohio, yet he seems to have held residence in Boston.

The president had a long list of people he could have met with, ranging from seriously wounded who lost limbs, to surviving family of the dead, and even some skinned knees if he were squeamish about serious injury or surviving family left a bitter taste in his mouth after Newtown.
Why this guy? and why these efforts, that will shield him from prosecution and even questioning for that matter.

full tinfoil hat theory might paint a picture around these facts of a jihadist president who contracted a hit with a terrorist group in order to fuel an agenda of disarmament prior to eradicating all of us.

A good bit less tinfoil might paint a picture of an idiot president who folded for a foreign interest after a chance meeting with a Saudi official.

foil free version .... I can't script up anything sunshiny from this without running the facts through a blender with hallucinogens and butterflies. I really can't think of anything plausible.

Of the two that are plausible, neither is pleasant, nor acceptable

You are asking about people in ball caps and carrying backpacks at a sports event in a college town. Good luck with that.

Two guys who were "identified" by the Internet detectives were looking to tag onto the runners without actually entering but found themselves at the finish not the start. I'll bet they were not the only ones.

I threw that out early on ... they could have actually been there to watch the marathon

Opps! It looks like Beck may have some valid information after all. Don't let that get in the way of your shoot the messenger philosophy though. No other points of opposing intelligent points of view with reasonable opposite facts, just attack the messenger. Throw out those tinfoil hat insults. That really solidifies your position. It seems the tinfoil slipping down over your eyes might be a small impediment. Never let that spoil your steadfast, lack of reason and intelligence impede your thoughts no matter what the facts might show. Remember: You are right no matter what! Don't let the facts confuse you!

Yup, Not one intelligent argument. They'll ignore him and call him a nut.

I want answers. Not insults.

What he said are some serious allegations. Prove him wrong and we can move on. Don't answer and call him names and you'll only raise my suspicions.

I've said all along that these two clowns were not acting alone. Now the feds are saying they did and there's a lot of story changes.

I wonder how many times a Saudi got bowed to this week.

How about we have a media in this country that has started following the British model (Thanks Rupert) and both the lefties and the righties have discovered they can make boatloads of money running with gossip rather than hard news?

Let me see the proof. Claiming anonymous sources is one of Beck's specialties. I'm not claiming anything one way or another, but I like evidence.

Beck has been busted in the past for providing false information and then claimed his staff made a mistake. Oh ok, when you get caught just pass the buck.

Well MY sources told me the Saudi was actually a time traveling agent from the not yet formed Russia-China-North Korean alliance. That's what my sources say.

Beck has raised some valid points in the past, but has also made up stuff out of nowhere and totally discredited himself with his nonsensical approach to "journalism" if that's what he's attempting to do.

He would have done everyone a favor if he took a more respectable approach, but instead he made himself out to be such a fool that Fox had to drop him. Instead of being able to raise concerns he gets mocked, and it's his own fault.

What is this forum becoming?

Threads like this have been popping up more and more lately, and are the reason I don't frequent other forums. I can't stand listening to Internet conspiracy talk.

What really gets me is how people who would otherwise enjoy talking to each other about Smith & Wesson firearms, trips to the range, their dogs, or broccoli will squabble over this stuff. What's going on in this case? Who knows. None of you KNOW, yet some get all defensive and accuse others of wearing tin foil hats or drinking kool aid.

Granted, I can and will choose to ignore this thread.

Can't we all just get along?!

The bottom line is that the administration is covering up Saudi involvement in the BOS attack. Remember Obama bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia in his first term? There's a reason for that, and you're seeing the results of that now. The previous administration essentially did the same thing. Deny all you want, but we continue to lose our civil liberties because of the actions of one group of people, namely the Muslim minority.

The terrorists have won, with the cooperation of the powers that be. One group gives the action that the second group uses to further restrict the public's civil rights. The list is long and getting longer-Patriot Act; NDAA; NDRP; Stellar Wind; further restrictions on both firearms and gunpowder; your daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother being sexually assaulted at the airport by TSA, yet Saudi's and other Islamic minorities sail right through with no restrictions; entire cities being shut down and Fourth Amendment rights being violated without question to search for yet another Muslim terrorist. When will we call a halt and insist that the perpetrators be identified and prosecuted?

You may disagree with Beck's presentation or with his views, but he is the ONLY media outlet that is covering this travesty.

Hi Steve,
I agree. I am just asking. It looks like to me more people are condemning the reports because of who says them rather than what is said.
I think there is proof enough that some of what he says has basis.
I felt some of these things were true before he said them.
You can research Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi and if you spend any effort at all and not become suspicious I'd be surprised.
Anyway, I was just asking. It seemed like a lot of folks wanted to discredit what was being presented because it was presented by Beck. I wondered why that how people feel about Beck makes what he says about these Saudis so hard for them to believe.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Mike

I don't remember this happening... What false information did he provide?

I do know that everything he discusses is what he believes to be true, and if there was an error I am sure he would point it out as soon as it was discovered. He is just after the truth and I cannot fault a guy for that.

Here's a list to get you started.
PolitiFact | All statements involving Glenn Beck

I'm sure he wants the truth too, but I feel there's a certain truth that he wants and often does what he can to create that truth.
