Anyway, the latest from the great state of NY is that when filling out financial aid forms the words MOM and DAD or any synonyms are now forbidden. The new and authorized terms are Parent 1 and Parent 2. And being as it is NY one could suppose that Parent 3 and Parent 4 might be possible. This was on Fox news early this morning.

As a taxpayer in NY, I can tell you without reservation that I will never refer to Mrs. Kozmic or myself as parent # anything. If I ever get anything from the state addressed to "parent (insert # here)" it will find it's way to a gender-neutral, PC approved, garbage can.

What little Suzy has or doesn't have for parents is not my concern and I wish them all well but my kids have a mom and dad and have since long before the PC folks decided their agenda trumps everyone else's status quo.

Sounds like this could lead to some family war calls when being #1 or #2 becomes a matter that gets out of hand.. Could the "victim" sue the state for inciting violence?

I am sick of hearing about the person heading a committee (life is full of committees these days) being called the chair rather than the chairman.

A chair is something we sit on. If some PC person of either gender, or of neutral gender, or even a gender bender (I'm not homophobic, honestly - a friend of mine knows someone who might be homosexual, but on the other hand might not be) wants to be a chair, we should all sit on him/her/it.

After that it should be mandatory to manacle them in our mansion in whatever manner we can manage, manually throw them down a manhole, followed by a load of manure. Then we can have a manicure while we eat a mandarin while we listen to the music of a mandolin.
