Default I'd like to nominate my wife for Wife of the Year.

Exhibit A)

I came home just now and my wife said she was going over to her parents to help her mom bake. Monday night is one of my wife's cooking nights (we split the cooking duties) an even though she was heading out she took care of dinner.

She told me dinner was downstairs on the table in the "man cave".

This is what I found:
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1368480663.992566.jpg

Pizza, beer, and 300 rounds of ammo.

Great wife - you are to be thankful. I have an equally wonderful wife that deserves a medal for putting up with me for 38 years!

Gets my vote, as long as I can claim my late other half was the wife of the 20th century.

Did she take a second mortgage on the house to get all that ammo?

Obviously she's a keeper.

Mywife followed me all over she world for the better part of 46 years now. You bore us children in Utah, Virgina, Oklahoma, Germany & Texas. Her hardest year was when I left her in Colorado with four teenagers, and went off to Korea. My year went fast - Was a Cubmaster that year in Seoul. She was pulling her hair out.

The 9mm was 12.99 a box. The .38s were each 16.99, an the .40 was 27.99. Not too bad.

So she's the one who's been hoardin' all the ammo huh?!?!?!??!

Nice score on the ammo and the life-mate!

The only boxes my wife brings home say "some assembly required"!

She left her beer next to your pizza.

Sorry, I couldn't help but make a Coors Light is girl-beer joke.

You sir, have a fine woman on your hands.

Well we're only 28 and 27, so you'd be better off with the sister! Although she's married and nothing like my wife.

You can tell her that the forum members are in awe of her!

I'm half temped to ask where she scored the ammo, but I will not, it would almost be like asking her age. (Even though you already mentioned it.)

I'm lucky to have a good wife for forty years. Hope you two have many more good years!

Here's the real impressive part... She got it in two different places. She stopped at my favorite shop after workable for the .38s and .40, and then she went to Dicks to look for a kayak paddle and found the 9mm. She said there was about 30 boxes in stock... She would've gotten me more but there was a three box limit.

My wife would definitely set me up with a pizza and a drink (I can't drink alcohol). As far as the ammo is concerned, she wouldn't give me any. She'd actually use it herself. She carries a full size 1911.

I don't mind dinner at the in-laws. My in-laws are great.
My wife's in-laws on the other hand, they belong in that "terrible parents" thread.

So who else had lousy parents?

I actually like my in-laws as well. Her dad is into guns so we always have that to talk about. My folks are split up, and hers are together, so it's nice sitting down with the two of them.
