From what I've gleaned of your personality & sense of style here on the Forum, I could see you in that! It would be a lot more fun than a Pope Mobile. Unfortunately I see pretty much the entire production run going to, shall we say, the Mid East? Who else has money to burn & a lot of sand to play in?

They ain't so much, we had a 1953 vintage surplus 6X6 weapons carrier. It was good in snow if you chained up the back two axles together like a half track, but it was a bitch to park at a meter.

But how are you going to haul all your beer and stuff?
"Unfortunately, the payload is a miserly 1,654 pounds. That means that if you stick four adults in it, you'll only be able to carry 800 pounds of anything else."

Better get an Escalade then. Does anybody remember the Rambo Lambo? Lamborghini's SUV? I don't even know if they still offer it, as it was awhile back. If the Saudis buy up all the
6x6's, one of those would be a nice classy way to motorvate!
I saw the fifty two feet length mentioned in other posts & I couldn't believe it So I went back to the article & did the math myself. Like I think another post already mentioned, I can't see parallel parking being a fun activity. But I guess if you had that kind of "Foo" money, you could just buy the street(or sand dune)you want to park it on & park however you want!

Hell, he could probably load up that much crawfish alone, let alone beer.
Talk about an machismo-mobile! And you know they'll be bought by people who'll drive them down Rodeo Drive shopping, then off to the stockbroker and the club.

I am guessing they missed converting that length number....625 centimeters would be 20.5 feet.....sounds a little more reasonable, no?

Thanks for clearing that up! my math has been more than suspect for years...common sense(also suspect?)should have told me it couldn't be that size. Still, you never know...

I was thinking 52' long and only a little over 4 tons. That is one light truck. 'Course with a 166" wheel base there's a lot of overhang!

I don't think its 52 FEET long, that's almost as long as a full size semi trailer. If it were that long I wouldn't want one anyway. LOL

I'll bet they don't make that one in Tuscaloosa. I guess you could always substitute tracks for the real wheels. Does it come with a gun mount on the roof? I'm thinking that boat may be a little too big for marsh fishing for reds and specks. It would be a good place to go when not on good terms with Mrs. Caje though.

If I win the lottery (not gonna happen, I've never bought ticket) a bespoke James Purdey & Son hammer gun, chambered in 28 Gauge will be mine.

Caj,
You'd look good in that one on a Saturday night going to
town for a dinner of mudbugs.
Heck, with 550 million for the winning ticket saturday you
may as well just buy a couple. One for the weekends and
one for hauling back your purchases at Gunshows.
Chuck

with millions to spend...
id create the best shooting range i could , with a full indoor complex for the cold months .there would be classrooms for training and an auditorium/reception hall for gun shows ,events etc. my living quarters would be upstairs above the bar...
i would also create a foundation for the support of local charities.
