For pocket carry I still like Surefires, and the G2 LED is a good one for the money. Nice and light, easy to carry.

I have a couple of the Streamlight Micro Streams myself. Also a Stylus. In a recent thread I documented the kind of service that the company gave me. In short, the two Micro Streams that I had were non functional, & were three or four years old. A local retailer told me to send them back to Streamlight to see if they were repairable. They sent me back two brand new ones! As far as which model would be best for you I can't say, but I would not hesitate to recommend Streamlight products.

I have several Fenix brand lights and have had good service from all of them. They are a lot less expensive than some of the popular brands.

for the money Eagle Tac is a good buy.

I have the Fury and the Eagle Tac on rifles.

for half the price, I prefer the the ET and I cant tell a difference is performance. I have this exact model.

T - T100C2 models more

I need a light for an Rem 870....with a MagPul forend. I am seriously thinking about another Eagle Tac on a rail.

I have an eagletac P20c2...Great light, blindingly bright, and you can unscrew the strike bezel so if you want to fly with it, just take it off so the TSA can't add it to their collection. I also like that it has a 5 lumens setting for checking out a menu without lighting up the restaurant...

I'm a big fan of Streamlight products.
There's a Microstream clipped into my pants pocket right now. Great little go anywhere light.
At work I carry a Stylus Pro in my shirt pocket. Its handy as.. well .. a shirt pocket!
There's an older Scorpion kept in the console of my truck.
And if that ain't enough, I have TLR-1's mounted on one of my pistols and my HD shotgun.
Yep, I'm a believer in Streamlight.

Thanks for all your input, I decided on a Streamlight ProTac 2L mostly due to my budget ($60.00) I am pretty satisfied. Those SureFire are "Wow" but are mostly out of my price range. If I was a LEO or in the Armed service overseas a SureFire is what I would get. Buy the way. ... Does that Strobe option really work? That is something new to me in what situation does that call for..

I like the TerraLux Lightstar 220. I have a few and they have proven to be very dependable.

I have two of those. Good choice. I also have several Surefire lights too. The little Streamlight is awesome for such a small light. And 180 lumens is more than enough.

Had a Streamlight Stinger years ago and loved it. Small, lightweight, and very bright. Thinking about getting one again, and now they have led versions.

Currently have an Inforce 9vx and am very happy with it.

Depends on how small you want. I carry a powertac warrior, its about 5 inches in length and max diameter is an inch, off brand but works just as good if not better than others. Has low med high and strobe output advertised like 600 lumens (not sure about that but it is bright! military discounts available and lifetime warranty. Had mine for a couple years works every time battery life is good to considering max output
