Need help to identify this top break revolver
New to the forum and pistols, found this revolver when we cleaned out grandpa's house. Only legible info is the sn on the bottom of the grip , 242768. From other pics, maybe it's an H&R 32? Value?

Can you read the emblem on the grip panel? It is not an S & W, though.

The front sight looks like a Meriden product or possibly a Spanish copy of one. Meriden made guns for Sears and I believe was later bought out by them. Time period from @1900 to 1920. A good picture of the grip logo might help in identifying it.

Take another photo that shows the logo in the grip circle at the top of the grip. This photo is too dark to read the logo. Ed.

Agree with desi2358, it looks just like a Meriden Fire Arms Co. hammerless. The scalloped front sight blade and the prawl high up the backstrap are characteristic.
Meriden was pretty much a subsidiary of Sears and made guns under the A.J. Aubrey brand name until 1909 when he quit the company.
