Default Chris' "Unofficial" Senior Photo

By local tradition our schools graduating senior's, get to place a second "unofficial" photo in the ceremony program. While he correctly noted he had a "Snowball's Chance in Haiti" of getting the following published (we understand that the state of our world frowns on the mixing of firearms and schools, and this was not meant to start a larger debate), he wanted to give it a try.... I figured I would post it for a group of people who would look at it with more favor....

Note, the 20's vintage L.C. Smith was my wife's grandfather's, the (really ugly) ring my father's, the tie his uncle's, and the buckle is mine, not visible is my FIL's old watch.... We have a few with my uncle's Stetson, but they did not come out as we had hoped.

The only thing missing from the "accepted' photo is the L.C. Smith. Though I like this one better, as if my vote counted.

Thanks for putting with the bragging of a proud dad.

Nice photos I wish I was photogenic. Every picture I take looks like a mug shot.

And congrats to your graduate.

You've passed on a sense of heritage to your son. Congratulations! I have no doubt he will be successful as time goes on.

PS, I won't be showing the pictures to my granddaughter........she doesn't have my permission to date (as if it really mattered).

Really good pictures and black and white at that. That makes them look all the better. I bet you are proud of him and I hope he gets the 1st one published in the program for sure.

The camera used to take CCW license pictures when I got my first one made everyone look yellow. Being hopelessly non-photogenic, I looked as if I had washed ashore after four days in the river, following death from liver failure.

Chris is a very handsome young man, and I wish him a wonderful, successful future. With lots of fine guns!
