New Henry
I couldn't be happier with this little rifle. It is as nice as they say it is.

I have the .22 S/L/LR version and it is a great rifle! Lever is smooth as glass and a quality gun. Enjoy!

I received the same rifle as a retirement gift, everyone thought I would just display it on the wall....wrong! I put a Leupold 2-7 x 28mm Rimfire scope and have a lot of fun plinking and small game hunting with it. It is a very accurate rifle!

My father has a .22 Henry rifle. He loves that thing. He has had issues with getting it sighted in.

There are some out there with a too short front sight. If he emails Henry with a serial number, they will send him a new one.

Looks great. The reflection in the receiver makes for some nice engraving.

Nice every time I see one I keep telling myself to get on. The golden boy is one nice firearm, and made in the USA. I like levers, Have a older Marlin model 56. And yours does looked engraved in the picture.

I got mine back when they were only 200+. Only thing I don't like is the stock. Can't put it to my cheek with the sights on target. Have been meaning to make me a tie on buckskin leather cheek piece, but never have yet. Just have to shuffle my brain 100+ years and remember what I'm shooting.
BTW mine is only listed on the barrel as .22 LR but feeds the shorts just fine.

They are very nice. I picked up the cheaper one just to try them out and shot the heck out of it. Shoots very well. Then I got a deal on the Frontier rifle. I hardly shoot my 10/22 anymore. I have several thousand rounds through each and not a single issue. Funniest afternoon is to take the wife and daughter to the range with the two Henrys and a Single Six.

I bought a Henry H001L carbine a few months back. Great shooting rifle. Nice to have something that can shoot shorts because sometimes they're all that's available. It's my shoot a few tin cans to relax rifle. :-)
