Default Speaking of treehouses

Shouldazagged's thread about a treehouse, got me to thinking.
I've watched Treehouse Masters a time or two, and he does build some nice stuff, but on some of the builds, he uses trees for anchors for the "foundation". What happen after a few years as the trees keep growing? I can see lots of problems with integrity of the build as the trees grow. Am I wrong?
