Heatwave over.. for now.
Today was the first time in a week it did not top 110°F. I can almost hear my A/C units going "Phew!" But I see that the weather folks are promising the heat to creep up near 110°F later in the coming week before the possibility of the monsoon moisture moving in. Oh goody, then we can go play in the flash floods.

Been raining here on a off for the last three days, cooled things off so it is livable. A/C has had a rest. Got the Electric Bill yesterday and it was $119.00. Not bad only $4.00 A Day being all electric.

Yeah, we have a major T Storm rolling in right now.
But what the heck, as high as the humidity has been it might as well rain.
Do you guys have the stupid motorist laws in Nevada?
You know, the one where you get billed for EMS/Rescue and a ticket if you try to cross a washed out road and get stuck.

I don't know. As broke as our state is, maybe we should have similar laws. That said, as broke as many of these idiots are, you'll never see the money.
