I lost two friends
It was rough last week as I lost two friends .One battled cancer for the last 15 or so years. The other friend was going through trouble with depression and at 56 years old he got in his truck and took his own life with a gun.
I also lost my Mom back on 1/2/13 and we did a service then she went for cremation . We were waiting for my sister to come from Colorado to bury her ashes but my brother called Friday night and said she will be buried Monday at 11:00 am but I will not be able to make it as I just started a new job and I need to be there on Monday as several people rely on me.
Overall it was a tough week but the living go on living and I will get on with my life !

Hang in there Buddy, I also have lost three good friends recently and it's a tough thing to go through. Going to work will help you , what I mean is to keep busy.

/\ + what NAM68 said, don't spend too much time wandering around alone in your own head, it can be a dangerous neighborhood.
My daughter(33yrs) just called me last night, a girl friend of hers, who helped save my daughters life a few years ago, just committed suicide. We talked for a long time.

Holding good thoughts for you. That's a run of challenging news, to be sure, and you have my condolences.
With time you will find that even though the losses will stay real, the pain associated with them will become easier to manage.

I feel your pain. Prayers sent.
As I get older I see the elders in my family passing away. It's really tough
at the holidays I miss talking to them.

Very sorry for your losses... death is a part of life. It is hard to understand what others are going through, you just have to keep the good thoughts and good memories. It's a great life if you don't weaken.

Thank all that posted prayers and good wishes. You guy's are the best!!!!!
For my Mom and friend with cancer I'm happy that there suffering is over I just hope my friend that killed himself is also in a peacefull place and his suffering is over also.
