I've been to the 90th (bought a brand new HD in 1993) and the 95th. The 90th was a great time. First time they ever shut down I-94 just for a parade. And the people in Milwaukee showed up in droves for it! Great time at the festival grounds with ZZ Top doing the concert at night. It was crowded but managed well.
The 95th was not so great. The difference being the crowds. The closest I could find an empty motel room, was in Beaver Dam. Which is a pretty good ride from down town Milwaukee. Parking anywhere was an adventure. The festival was split between to locations, and it was just crazy crowded. Joe Walsh was the concert headliner.
It's one of those events that every HD owner should attend once. I've met that obligation...

I made the 100th. I had family living in the area so I had a place to stay. A good time was had by all. One was enough for me.

You mean Laverne & Shirley won't do it or Pabst Blue Ribbon.

We went to Milwaukee to visit family years ago, I wore out all those jokes while I was there.
Can we have lunch at Arnolds Drive in?
Hey lets go to the Pizza Bowl tonight!
Yes I would like a Shotz beer please...
Can we swing by Cunningham's Hardware to pick up a few things.
I am sure I had more too...

Milwaukee?!?! Why????
If ya ride a Harley built since 1973 , it was built in York , PA!
If ya own a Sportster or Dyna or V-Rod made sine 1998 , it was built in Kansas City , MO!
Let's not forget all the imported parts!
Last 'genuine Harley-Davidson' dealer t-shirt I received was made in Pakistan!
Rode my 1968 FLH to the York Assembly Plant back in 1998 , only to realize my bike really was made in Milwaukee.
And NO , I'm not riding it to Milwaukee.

Went to the 100th. Great time had by all... until Elton John showed up. Great artist, wrong venue.
A lot of big, bad biker types there and EJ was the most dangerous person there. Almost got me trampled.

i think i'm going. it's about 100 miles, i won't do the official harley doings but i'll find some free entertainment there then get a pizza at zaffiro's. i was at the 85th, 90th, 95th, 100th and the 105th. 85th was by far the best.
