SPECIAL AGENT JOHN EDWARDS OF THE F.B.I. NOTIFICATION
I received a notification from agent John Edwards of the F.B.I. this morning.(it was in my JUNK MAIL FOLDER)
The notification was about a trunk that had came into the country from an island and contained 4.2 million dollars.
I need to contact him at an email address within 72 hours about this consignment------Blah---Blah----Blah----Blah.
YEA SURE GUY!:
There is a FAMOUS John Edwards out there though, I wonder if that's why they used that name?

SCAM!
That is my trunk and I've already sent Agent Edwards all my data to have it sent to me.
Somebody's lyin to you.
You should report that to Agent Edwards. If you need his real contact data, I can send it to you. He appears to be vacationing in Nigeria.

He more than likely just wants to buy some of the good food you bring to the S&W meet at North Olmsted Sportsman's Club.

That lying sack of fertilizer told me the trunk was full of .22LR and .38 Special ammo! Easily worth more than a paltry $4.2 million at today's prices!

"Listen here mister!" Everyone knows that you get THAT official notification from Jack Webb LAPD. When you have crossed all the I's and dotted all the T's then you can darn well be sure it's the real deal and send your money. Now, "Are there any questions?" Wait a second, Harry Morgan wants to nod his head yes.

Since it is a large and heavy trunk, all that is required is $300 in shipping fees for Agent Edwards to send it on to you. Insuring such a package is very expensive don't you know.

That's what the FBI does.....
...... accompanies trunks full of money from islands to handle as Agent Edwards sees fit. Exciting job.

Now, most of you guys are not old enough to remember the old 100,000watt radio station in old Mexico just across the river from Del Rio. If the clouds were right it was heard in China.
They used to offer a lot of scams on it and all were just 2 or 3 dollars. We used to order them just see what the scam looked like.
Ask me about the bug killer.
Blessings

Good heavens! Another old codger who spent hours listening to Wolfman Jack back in the 'Fifties! Wow! What memories.
One correction though, sir. Radio station X??? (I only remember the call letters started with an "X") ran 500,000 watts--five times the legal limit in the U.S. You probably remember that Wolfman Jack used to claim you could tune in in New York, drive all the way to California, and never lose the signal. I suspect he was right.

XERF 1570 from Ciudad Acuņa, Coahuila.
So, tell me about the bug killer
I bought the "hotrod backfire kit". It was a spark plug, and a drawing of how to install and wire it. Wire, switch, not included.

I am the widow of the late President Magumba who was killed in an auto accident in 2012. Foul play was suspected. He left (?) million dollars to me. I now have cancer of the breast and before I die I'd like to share this with you. If you send me (?) thousand dollars for security I will wire the money to your bank account. God bless you.
I can't count the number of times I've received this, or a similar message.

Now just a damn minute! I'M President Magumba, and I'm in hiding from the evil generals who overthrew me! I need to get out of the country to my Swiss bank account, so if you can help...yadda, yadda.

For trivia's sake...that radio station in Mexico was XERF. On the topic of scam emails, google up "ebola monkey man" to see how to really deal with them.
