I know this forum is primarily dedicated to S&W firearms, but Im hoping that someone here can help me in determining the approximate year of manufacture for a H&R Top-Break revolver that I am considering purchasing. It is a 6-shot revolver chambered for 32 S&W CTGE ammo. I've been able to determine that the revolver was manufactured somewhere between 1919 and 1941. The serial number is 490XXX. Have attached a photo. Any help in narrowing the manufacture date would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
