Karma: Weaver D4 Scope- Winner Announced
"House 6" is making me clean out the 3 car garage; its about time so no complaints. Found a bunch of stuff from when I was a kid, among them a nice Weaver D4. Its a fixed 4X, 7/8ths inch tube for Rimfire; comes with mounts. I bought this new in the early 70's and it was a constant companion to my Nylon 66. It served me well over the years so it has a few dings to the finish but the optics are as clear as I day I bought it and of course, its made in America. I would prefer this go to or for the benefit of a youngster. I'll end the Karma in a week or so; thanks...
Thought I would add a photo of this old classic. I plan to end the Karma on Sunday. Thanks...

A very nice Karma! I wish I had a young 'un to gift it to, but all ours are growed up. I'll pass......but a bump for the cause!

1sg, that's awfully kind of you. What a great idea. Please add my name to the list. I have a ten-year old grandson who has just completed his Hunter Safety.

Nice on you. Don't enter me as I already have a D6 on my Winchester 61. Both of my nieces learned to shoot a rifle with that rifle and scope.

TOP: good karma to you, no young ones in my pack, so I'll pass it on.
That's a good scope.

1sg, thanks so much. I know a little 10-year old boy who is going to practically jump right out of his jeans when Grandpa mounts that on the old Remington bolt-action .22 for him. Thanks once again.

Thanks, Larry. I sure plan to. I have fourteen grandkids and one more due in December. The ten-year old isn't the oldest, but he lives, eats, sleeps and breathes hunting, fishing, and camping.
He has a fourteen year old cousin who is more interested in basketball than he is guns. He also has a 12-year old cousin, a girl, who is more interested in cheerleading.
Having taught Hunters' Safety for over 28 years, I've had the privilege of instructing most of the grandkids who are seven and older in the basics of firearm safety. I love it.
Like I said previously, he is going to be tickled pink when he sees that scope. Local rabbits better beware.
