Can anyone point me to a up to date firearms law database that has them state by state? By laws, I mean specifically like magazine restrictions, "assault weapons" bans and regulations, etc...
With laws changing so quickly it's hard to keep track, I'd be awesome to find a website that keeps track of them in one place.
The site I use is handgunlaw.us. It seems to have the best and most up to date information available. I am not sure whether it also covers magazine limits or not.
The above is a good reference. Also there is an app by Workman Consulting specific to concealed carry. Accurate and updated every time there is a change in state laws. Also includes a GPS feature so if you're in unfamiliar territory you can find any local gun shops and ranges.
