I like it A10.
As i tell the wife, "the last item of sporting goods" i'll ever need.
Nice pick-up. I just got a SS Ruger Super Blackhawk 5.5"
bbl yesterday and can't wait to put some rounds thru it.

The only new revolvers that attract me much are Ruger single actions. When I first handled this one it just plain felt right, and it points like a finger. I'm thinking this one is here to stay.

I told myself I would never buy a new Model Ruger, mainly because of the hideous warning on the barrel. Then I saw a .44 Special Bisley Flat Top. The warning has been moved to the bottom of the barrel along the ejector rod housing, it's built on a smaller frame than the .44 Magnum, and the Bisley grip frame, wide, curved trigger and unusual hammer look and feel good to me. I put in a Wolff reduced power trigger return spring and dry fired it a lot and the action smoothed up nicely. It also shoots very well with the Skeeter load. What's not to like ?

VERY sweet! I've lusted for a .44 Special for years, and that's a fine-looking specimen.

I had a mild case of lust for that gun when I first saw it. I just sat quietly, taking deep, slow breaths, and the feeling passed. At the time, I would have had to order it. If I had seen it under glass and been able to handle it, I might not have been able to resist its siren song.

Blue is the only version I know of, TS. Handle one if you get the chance, they sell themselves.....at least this one did to me!

I got a 5&1/2" one a couple of years ago. Love the Bisley grip. I would love to see one in .22 with adjustable sights. I don't think I would buy another Ruger Single action that was not a Bisley.

I'm not going near any Rugers.
Last year I went near a SR1911, SP101 8 shot .22, and a older Bearcat with the brass anodized trigger guard.
So no, I refuse to look.

Now you're going to have to find some classy "barbeque" leather for that piece!

I love the cowboy guns! I ESPECIALLY love the Ruger Bisley series single action six-shooters. Also my favorite hand gun caliber is the .44 spl. That is one beautiful shooter.
