Baby Jake & Baby Bronwen Updates!
Hey Gang!
I know I haven't been holding up my end of the conversation much lately... this Grampa stuff is time consuming!
Here's a short update...
Jake is now a year old and man, is he a thrasher! He's walking and nothing is safe! For his birthday I gave him a K-22, but I think he was more impressed with this dill pickle!
Of late, Jake has a little competition for Grampa's time.... this is Baby Bronwen.
She she's my 'Laskan Granddaughter.
My daughter and her husband live just north of Anchorage and Bronwen is home with her mom to be here when her cousin Ethan is born, and he's overdue as this is written!
WHEW! Three new Grandkids in a year.
I think I'm gonna be a little busy for a while!

Lefty, I've had to search high and wide to find good K-22's for all these new grandkids! You fellas have been snappin' 'em up and drivin' the prices up!
All is Blessed here. I see the hand of the Lord in the way this family is growing even in these difficult times. I see the innocence of my grandchildren and my faith is refreshed... The lord protects and provides for his servants...

DG, my friend, I am proud and humbled. But tell me, how am I going to grow a third arm in short order? Ethan will be here any day...

How to grow a third arm?
Third Grand Baby.
I wish I had that problem, I'd grow arms like an amoeba.
Bless them.

Drew, I can understand why you rather spend time with the Great Kids than this crew, but it is good to see you back.

Bronwen is a name that my daughter has fancied ever since she read "Anne of Green Gables". It is also a Celtic name and a large part of my family's heritage is ancient Irish.
I wasn't sure I would like her name, but it grew on me... Bronwen is a sweet child...

Thanks for the answer. When the name is attached to a cutie like that, how could you help but like it?

Go ahead, take your time! You've got more important
things to think about!
Thank you for bringing a smile to my face! You, and
all the other grandparents out there, are blessed.

Nothing like grandchildren to turn a gruff old fart into a big ol'teddy bear.

Drew,
I'm so happy for you! You've got great looking grandkids and although we do miss your commentary on this forum it's certainly understandable. Thanks for sharing the pictures, you look happy.
I imagine you reading a section of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson each night for a bedtime story!

Fine looking grandkids you have there. Isn't it amazing how easy these little people can turn us old fogies into blathering idiots.

Been wondering where you were Drew! Those are a couple of cunnin' cookie crumblers you have there. Wish my two slackers would get it in gear. No sign of grandbabies on this front. Best to you and yours!

Hey Bill! I wondered where you were too! Haven't seen you around the usual places...
My kids were all well into their 30's before they had children of their own and now that they've started, there's no end in sight! Hang in there... there is hope!

You can look at Jake, now that he's walking, and tell he's planning something that will challenge you. Severely.
Beautiful young'uns, Drew.

Thank You Sir!
Baby Jake and Baby Bronwen have already changed me in ways I could never have anticipated.... I think that's the way it's supposed to be.
