National news shows a terrible tornado destroyed good part of Washington, Illinois this weekend.

I had the same thoughts this morning, wondering if he was all right. They got hit pretty hard.
We spoke with a Sister-in-law in Peoria, IL, at 5 PM Mon. (which is about 20+ miles from Washington) and she has a nephew that lived in Washington. Town of 15,000, about 25+% of the town leveled. All communications out. Gas leaks caused any remaining to be evacuated. I believe they may be back in now. It is unknown how soon there may be power restored to the remaining homes. FEEMA and Red Cross are both already there. Lots of devastation.

Been praying for him everyday in his battle with the cancer and the side effects of the chemo. Adding prayers now for him (and his family) being safe after that terrible storm.

I just found this thread, Thank you for all of your kind words. My family and i are safe here our electricty was knocked out for 12 hours and the internet was down until late last night but overall aside from that were ok. Continued prayers for the other who where not as lucky.

Man some of your neighbors were really hit hard Matthew. I'm happy to hear you guys came out relatively unscathed.

Man! Looks like you guys had it rough up there. We went through the same thing a few years back. It didn't tear up anything of mine, but we had several friends and neighbors who lost everything; some even lost their lives. Glad to hear from you.
