Show us a picture of your dog. I want to see what everyone has. If you have any funny ones to share please do. First one cracks me up every time I see it. She was such a ham as a baby

smith plays well with little dogs be lets them bite and carry on and every once in a while he just sort of puts his mouth "around" them like hes biting but ever so gentle. great with kids too for a young dog.
dont show him a ferret or hamster though ,he just sees food!

We've had her eight years, a 35 pound stray probably booted out of someone's car. She's about 65 pounds now and queen of the neighborhood. The picture with the squirrel in the window is recent, pretty good for almost ten.

Talking

These are some pictures of Cindy my German Shepherd. Both her parents are from the Czech Republic and were Schutzhund III titled dogs. I am not involved in the sport of Schutzhund, but I like the conformation of the German Shepherds bred under the East German and Czech breading programs.

This little gal is strictly a pet with an attitude. She has a ferocious bark and growl, but in realty it is all a bluff unless you stand still long enough to be injured by being licked. So she is a great watch dog, but not much of a guard dog.

She's a beauty, and appears not to have been bred for the sharply sloping back that seems to be the show standard for German Shepherds in this country. I much prefer the level back myself.

Here's Otis the wonder dog. Rescued him 10 years ago after some $^&% shot him with an arrow. So far I have taught him to eat, poop, sleep on the couch and bark when it's time to feed him.

And here is Augus-he is a work in progress-here he is seen negotiating temperature ranges for hunting season.

"Kauli" the Border Collie, 8 hrs old -

5 weeks old -

Explaining to "Harley" where she wants him to go -

Border Collies will herd anything. Animals, blowing leaves, garden hoses -

Cooling off after herding -

"Dio" and "Schatze", the lifeguards, announce "Everybody out of the pool" -

Time to dry off. The three dogs know how to come into the wet room via the doggy door AND they know how to get the towels over them to dry off. They put the towels on themselves. -

Relaxing after a tough day with a glass of bubbly and some internet chat -

Jake, my GSD at 8 weeks old with Buster, my little mixed breed firecracker. Second pic is of Jake at 2 years old with his favorite toy - the tennis ball. I lost Buster to old age just before the second pic of Jake.

Toasting whippet buns by the open fire....

Last night Rita took her favorite position in front of the fireplace. With a very light coat and not much fat... whippets find ways to deal with the winter blast.
