I don't mean to make lite...
Of a most serious situation. But I was running the grocery stores this morning and something strange and wonderful occurred to me, shopping for the basics is very stressful for us all now. We are all surprised at the demand for toilet paper. But I was dumbfounded when I realized that every store I was in, Walmart, HEB and Food Town were in full stock of every flavor and brand of BEER. Even in my concerned state of mind that made me smile. I would have thought that beer would be the first thing to disappear. I would have lost the farm on that bet. I was fully prepared to by Old Milwaukee or Bush or some lite beer. I got a couple of cases of Shine Bock. They had stacks of it. Bud Lite too.... (I left all that for the me too crowd )
How about y'all. Having any trouble finding your brand?

The Greater Cincinnati area has one of the highest concentration of breweries in the country.
It is also home to Charmin.
We're good.

Beer doesn’t have an alcohol content high enough to be useful.
You should check whether more folks have been visiting liquor stores to stock up on disinfectant and sanitizer

Was talking with my daughter at lunch. She lives in Houston. She asked if I had plenty of TP. Yes just the normal amount.
She said she was on her last roll and her mother was bringing her some Saturday, because the stores she shops at were all out.
I did chuckle somewhat.

My wife was at the WM yesterday and saw a guy with nothing but two carts full of Old Milwaukee. Must have been good on toilet paper.

As long as there's still corn on the cob available, I'm good if the worst happens. Husks & cobs, nothing goes to waste. May not be happy but I could get by.

I've been saying for a week that I won't panic until the breweries shut down. That's when you know it's all gone to hell.....

No problems at all. In fact, I was 4th in line at the checkout when I caught a coughing fit for a minute or so. Everyone froze in place, several with their arms covering their noses and mouths. I apologized while they all moved away from the checkout line. Then the clerk told me to just take my beer and go away, use the cart to haul it out of the store and don't bring the cart back. She wouldn't touch my cash or take my credit card.
I'm pretty well set up with beer for a few days. When I have to go back again I'll try using a surgical mask, see how that works.

That worked out great.
I’ll have to try that at the liquor store holding a $150 bottle of Scotch

It might be fun at work tomorrow. I work in a food warehouse and we also have TP,paper towels. No chemicals as they are located in a different warehouse.

as for toilet paper if I run out I will connect a hose to the hot water value and a spray nozzle I figure I can clean my self. as I don't drink a lot of beer I do have plenty of bourbon in reserve.

We went to the Base Commissary the other day. Every other cart had rolls of TP. Went to Targets yesterday- every cart had stacks of TP. WTH? Am I missing something here?
Asked a friend what he knew. Said it made prefect sense to him: someone you know gets the virus, it’ll probably scare the c—— outa you.

Am going to put my rolls on eBay and sell them one sheet at a time!!!
I can fit a single sheet into a regular envelope so shipping is not a problem unless they shut down mail delivery too.....

The .snowflakes, millennial, .idiots.com think that the "Coronavirus" symptoms includes diarrhea. Thus the need for TP. Fortunately, the "informed" deformed also aren't drinking beer either! But I am!!

Problem here is that everyone thinks that the stores are gonna shut down or that the supply chains will be broken or something like that and they will be unable to get basic necessities of life.
One of the things that I would encourage all of the panic buyers to purchase is condoms as we certainly don't need any more idiots in the food chain

Been using the shower massage head as a handheld bidet for years. Perfect temperature every time and a roll of TP lasts me weeks.

Toilet paper! probably 30% of the world's population never used it, they make out fine. A bottle or jug of water next to the toilet or squatter will do just fine. Use your imagination!

Except for CH4, I expect to see a birth spike in 9 months. As I saw on the internet yesterday that means in 2033 we will be seeing a rash of quaranteens. (nyuk, nyuk)
