I read a book on Mr. Zamperini a couple of years ago - he was quite the man.

One of several reasons I wish I could buy one of their rifles. I especially like the proceeds of the sales of the commemorative going to the POW/MIA Foundation.

Quite a story. I may have to read the book and/or see the movie.

Absolutely, as is her Seabiscuit.

It's a darn shame that the state of her health limits the amount of work she can do. She's one of my favorite non-fiction writers.

If it weren't true, Louis Zamperini's story would make such a fantastical movie that it would be dismissed as silly--but it actually happened. This is one story that does not need to be embellished.
