Showing off some stags....
I finally have some of Patrick Grashorn's fantastic stags to show off.
That's a large frame Vaquero .44 Mag, a Colt New Service .45 Colt, and a New Vaquero, also in .45 Colt.
I can't praise his work highly enough. They fit perfectly, without my having sent him the grip frames. They feel great in my hand, and their appearance speaks for itself.
This old gal will be my first Smith to get the treatment:
If you've put off getting some for fear the elk is not the equal of sambar stag, I'd say give these a try. I've had both and these are as good or better.

I'm really pleased that they fit your frames. So often, replacement grips don't.

I am of the opinion that "fantastic" and "Grashorn" is redundant. I have about a dozen of his grips==Colts and Rugers.

He does great work. He whipped these elk bone (not antler) out for me super fast. He said these were about as big grips he could get out of elk bone. your new grips look great. I really like that New Service.

Patrick, is a great guy and does super work. I've been lucky enough to have several sets of his Elk grips and I could not be more pleased with the fit, finish, and feel of these grips.
