Angry S&W Customer Service Rant!

I have a S&W Customer Service Rant! A couple of day's ago I sent them an email requesting the 2014 product catalog with my name and mailing address which is what I have done for many years.

I got a reply on January15th 2014 stating I had to call them and talk to the literature department to request the catalog.

So early this morning I called. After being on hold for almost half an hour I got a customer service rep on the phone and they transferred me to the literature department.

Where I got an answering machine and I had to leave a message.

So talking as fast and as clearly as I could I left my name mailing address and I specified the catalog that I wanted sent to me.

Now I have to wait 3-4 weeks for it to arrive in the mail if it arrives at all.

End Of Rant! mg357 a proud member of the S&W Forum.

It can't be requested online? If not I don't understand why. Just like their serial numbers, all other guns I own I can go to their website and check serial numbers for date of manufacture but S&W makes you buy a book. Maybe someone can explain why to me.

sent from my Galaxy S3, superior to the iPhone.

I'm sure they would much rather have you download the catalog. I'm sure it's expensive to produce and mail. I usually get them at the gun store. I don't mind the downloads but you can't take them into the throne room with you.
