As long as he doesn't put it in a deep freezer, or it will turn to rubber like the one in Georgia a few years back!

I should of posted -Who saw a big foot ? I did. Yes sir... 3 years ago -i was on my boat, the sun was just coming up. I was in the bay, about 100 yards off the grass lands fishing. There he was on one knee and one hand in the creek. He must of been getting the blue claw crabs. He looked at me and walked away. I know what i saw. We don't have bears in De. and bears don't walk on two legs.

That Bigfoot show on Discovery is one of the stupidist shows on TV.
I think they may exist, but those guys get a lot of air time proving very little.
One "witness" said that he saw one coming round a bend at about 60 MPH and saw a thing that looked like a trash bag by the road but it had eyes. So, he's a credible Bgfoot witness?

I heard they took a face mask off that supposed "big foot" and underneath it was Elvis. Go figure.

Lotsa peoples believe it exists, I've spoken to some who say they seen it. Upstanding folks too, not the type who'd talk about it outside of friends and family. I'm a skeptic but I can be conviced given evidence....

My buddy and i hate that show and that guy.
I hate when he says.. I think i hear a bigfoot !
Who said i want to hear more about --i saw bigfoot ?
It was June about 5;30 am. I was fishing for spot near the bank of a river. I looked at the shore line and there was this big brownest black thing. On one knee and one hand in the water. Big head-big shoulders. He looked right at me and got up and walked into the woods. I called my wife right after that.
I never saw little green men nor was i ever in a space ship getting needles in my body.

The Bigfoot I saw said he was incorporated in Delaware but had never actually been there. I would love to see one! The TV guys were up in the Jemez near here. The locals all told stories about seeing them. I have been in the Jemez hundreds of times have not seen or heard anything about Bigfoot there.

I seen cougars many times at that spot. I must of seen 5 in 3 years. Our house is only 1/4 mile from there. I told my wife to not let our dog out without you watching out. I also keep my shot gun near the porch. Everyone though i was nuts. Last summer one cougar was seen on our block. Then was seen -killing a dog. Letters were mail to everyone and telling us to be care full. They are still out there. WITH BIGFOOT !!!!

After seeing mountainlion tracks in the upper elevations of the green mountains of vt it took us over a decade to finally see one.
The bfro on tv got the cooking bacon idea from me when I reported it to them. Every time I cook my bacon cheeseburgers with the vents open on my trailer at my camp we get very loud screams while we're eating supper.
This thing is so loud when it screams its lungs has to be monster in size.
When we're on my land I get the feeling something is watching us 24/7. We hike or go hunting something walks parallel to us up on the mountaintop. When we stop the sound of the branches breaking stops too.
When we continue to walk it follows us too. Again when we stop it stops.
At 12am we take a walk in the dark. It's still there following us. My rem 700 in 338wm has a 24x scope on it. I scan the whole ridge up to the mountain top with my bolt open of course for safety. My camp is away from all the other houses. Now at the area where my mountain ends and drop offs that ridge gets the north air straight on. That's the coldest place in that area. Now below that ridge is a small low area before the next rise starts.
In this small area of pine trees. I seen tracks of something walking uprite around the blow downs and standing timber. The snow was fresh and too fluffy to make out the tracks. But there bigger than my size 13 sorrells insulated boots. The only was into this box valley was the way we walked in but these tracks came from the valley. It never entered the way we went in. The hunters have to pass by my camp to get to this area. There were no boot tracks nor car or quad tracks. I had my young son with me and my older brother. My brother seen the tracks and since it was getting dark he suggested that we go cook supper. But I did notice my Woodstove smoke
goes up and over my mountain into this low little boxed valley. For a human there is only one way in or out. The ridges that surround it are just too steep. Plus the valley if full of thick pines. I fear nothing with my 338wm. If it doesn't charge me to do harm I refuse to shoot it. When we rode this area on our dirtbikes my son was in the lead flying during the summer he seen something big running uprite away from this trail near this valley. Now I hunt others areas up there that are 15 to 25 miles away and I see these bigger tracks in the leaves but the ground is too hard to get a good pic of the tracks. Again these tracks always come from deep in the forest. They never enter where we enter. This is miles in the national forest. There are no other hunters in there with us. I'm a pretty good tracker now too. Now back at my camp I have a culvert pipe that crosses the road were there is a constant running spring with fresh water. It's the only watering holes on my side of the valley. I figure what ever it is needs
water like we do.
I contacted the BFRO tv guys on hunting Bigfoot and they sent there local investigator up there. He said he possibly found two Bigfoot beds above my camp up on the mountain. The the hurricane Sandy hit us and he hasn't been up there since.
I know something is there because my son goes up there all the time to camp with his buddies. And it follows them too. In my camp I keep an assault rifle with a 30rd mag ready to rock n roll incase we get more than a visit at night.
Being a light sleeper at around 1am I heard rocks being banged together. Another night around the sametime I heard some sort of gibberish language near my open window. By the time I got out of my bunk they were gone. I figure two of them were talking.
I'm thinking now there is a Bigfoot clan in that boxed lower valley.
I believe in live and let live but I'd like to see them once. Maybe I'll share my bacon cheese burgers with it. God bless, bill
Btw, I was contacted on one sight by someone who lives west of my camp a few miles away. He said there's a valley where these screams are heard by everyone. The locals just leave them alone.

Tumbleweeds, when you've been here a little longer you'll learn that that kind of "humor" may not fly. The moderators do enforce the rules, and one is that we don't talk politics.

I got quite a laugh when they were advertising on that show that they were going to China or Tibet to search for the "legendary Yeti"! I thought that they may as well look for him over there because Lord knows they sure can't find him here!

Their show is somewhat like the "Ghost Adventures" dreck--use infrared cameras to make it look spooky, etc., etc. Stupid.

Rumor has it that the Tooth Fairy and Loch Ness monster are going to stage a recovery mission of the cadaver to "erase" the evidence!

What about this new show "10million dollar big foot bounty" or whatever they call it.
Wherever they saw these big foots. I think they better be going back and looking for him. Because IMO, 10million is hard to pass up.

The Bigfoot thread last year was one of my favorites. I enjoyed reading BigBill's posts. As a hunter myself, I would love to be hunting up there. I also would like to see one. I don't think I could shoot one unless it was threatening me or my family. Then all bets are off and I am quick on the trigger. Another good post BigBill!!

That's me, but I can't show you because I loaned it to the Carzallians last week and they loaded it up in their flying saucer, and I haven't seen them since. You just can't trust those little gray, bug eyed suckers.

There must be bigfoots (bigfeet?) all over the US, or there's just one who gets around really well.
I've been listening to the stories about them since I was little.
If there really was a bigfoot, someone would have shot one by now. Especially since apparantly there are lots of them. Name one other creature here in the US that hasn't been shot.
Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
But I'm probably not.

I have never seen a bigfoot but I do believe they're out there. My question: Why on earth would anyone want to shoot (kill) one? if they are there, they've never harmed a human, and I really don't believe they'd be good to eat.

You must have a Mass. accent. It's a short a, like cat.
I know, it breaks the mystery, sorry.
I don't know about Lee being BF, he usually doesn't walk that upright, but that may just be from all the RMs he's carrying.

I've walked the mountains a long time and I've never seen a Big Foot. But I have seen a Black Panther and help bury a cougar.
So.. where have they been sighted!?
This is the place to look!

It's kinda like "Mountain Monsters" (or whatever the name is). They catch the monster in a trap but then never tell you what it was!

The story about a Russian farmer who shot one and it came back to kill his whole family. This is some sort of human ape hybrid. I have more stories to post too. This awesome scream sounds like someone being skinned alive. It will stop you dead in your tracks and the hair on the back of your neck will stand up. The DNA collected so far says it's half ape and half human.
I was in the very thick pines hunting. When we spooked something going away from us at a fast rate of speed. These pines are next to an Apple orchard. I ruled out a moose because the pines are too thick for antlers that wide. In some areas in the pines there are maybe a 10' shot if that. This was when I switched from a 30-06/2,800ft.lbs. to a 338wm with 4,000ft.lbs.@ muzzle @ 2,700ft.lbs. @ 200yds. I can put two bullets thru the same hole at 100yds. A little more power is a good thing. I won't shoot it unless it threatens me. I'll have to try to feed it my bacon cheeseburgers next fall. Maybe a trail cam will help but for some reason it knows when something is out of place. I watch my kittens/cats when I bring something new in the house they know and will find it right away. So why not bigfoot too when something is new in his area? There not dumb. I seen huge tracks bigger than my 13" sorrell insulated boots thought all along they were big bear tracks. Then I read were bear paws don't get that big(black bear). These tracks are deeper in the woods and never head out to the roads the way humans walk to enter and leave.
The powers to be still say there are no mountainlions in vt. I read an article we're the wolves from Canada are crossing into the US from the upper NY border when the waters are froze. My question was why are our yotes getting bigger? There interbreeding with our yotes making a larger wolf/yote sized animal. My point is can the mountainlions follow this pathetic as well as Bigfoot. They say that rivers are the Bigfoot trails when they migrate north to south. It's been documented that Davy Crockett shot and killed a Bigfoot too. There has been reports all thru history about Bigfoot. All I can say there is something out there we don't understand yet.
I hope we never kill it or capture it.
Ok here's the real truth. This new Oak Iland show I read we will never know what's really down in the ground that's buried. The facts and info will never be released to the public. So it will be one more cover up. Why not bigfoot is being covered up too? We just get bits and pieces to keep us interested. I never hide anything. All I know is what I'm hearing. I haven't seen it yet. Bill

I'd really like to see the documentation that Crockett shot a bigfoot.
As for the coyotes getting bigger, they readily mate with dogs. The resulting coydogs are often quite large, bigger than either parent. That could be the answer; but breeding with wolves could be too, I suppose. Hell, coyotes are wolves, for that matter.
Personally I think it's very possible some descendant of Gigantopithecus really still survives, or that something previously completely unknown is out there. I want to believe it, anyway. But the usual argument--no identifiable bones, etc., found so far--makes it seem pretty unlikely.
If the critters are real it's clear they're intelligent enough to keep that fact from us. They may well be.
I haven't seen reports of DNA indicating half human-half ape genetics. Did see a hair sample tested, and as I recall it turned out to be from a bear.

Big foot, you guys are nuts. Nobody believes that stuff. Everybody knows they are alien visitors from outer space.

cant explain what you guys saw or heard.
i do know that our eyes and minds will happily deceive us, i once "saw" an upright "something" scoot across the road in front of me running on its back legs. i saw it only for an instant but what the heck was it?? too small for bigfoot, this thing seemed about dog sized.
id bet that if i could have seen it more clearly ,it would have been something unremarkable. i just perceived it as odd in that split second.

I once saw 12 little men in white tuxedoes with top hats running all over the road, in the sand dunes east of Palm Springs.
Caught one and it was a desert iguana. Had been lying on the road absorbing the heat and we spooked them. Like many desert lizards run on their hind legs.
Also, once saw a pilot in a Korean War vintage flight suit with oxygen mask standing by the road along the Colorado River near Needles. Turned out to be the south end of a northward facing burro. The "mask & oxygen hose" were the tail and dark patches on his rump. The "rumpled uniform at the knees" was his stripes in the legs and the "helmet" was his protruding spine.
OK, we were snake collecting and had driven from Big Bear Lake to Arizona at a slow speed on back roads all night long! (Through thriving Earp, California)

Did it say, "G ' Day, Mate, and don't drink Foster's!"? Might have been an errant kangaroo or wallaby that got loose.
Or maybe I just wanted to make this silly post...

Coyotes technically aren't real wolves, Canis lupus. They're Canis latrans. But they can interbreed with dogs and wolves, and the result is often pretty scary.
The Red Wolf, curiously named Canis niger, is still another animal and breeding with coyotes further endangers this now rare species. I asked a zoologist about the name and we think it was bestowed upon one seen in the black phase, but of this species.
Some canid-like animals aren't the genus Canis at all. The African Wild Dog is Lycaon pictus (sp?) I don't know if they can breed with dogs. Probably not with hyenas, but they don't seem to mix. I think the Spotted Hyena is Crocuta crocuta or Hyena crocuta. I'd have to look it up.
The Dingo and other wild canid-like beasts are also not real wolves.
I'm going to post in a new topic about when wolves or wolf-like canids became dogs. Look for that in a few minutes.
The Army CID lab supposedly tested a suspected Bigfoot hair and it matched no known anmal.

Not Crockett perhaps, but I believe Daniel Boone claimed to kill a "ten foot hairy giant " ....'course he was noted for telling a tale or two.
For more fun, read the story of Zana, an apparent bigfoot captured and tamed in 19th century Russia.
I find the bigfoot legend plausible, I guess - especially given the sheer number of sightings that date well back into history - it is hard to have an alternative exxplanation for each and every one. Winter has always been a question mark for me....granted they are allegedly hairy, but how does an animal that size find subsistence in a snowy, cold winter? Even bears have to semi-hibernate, but never heard of anything close to a hominid that does so.

Heard a talk by a WWII hero here in town. He was a bomber gunner who got 'interned' by the Russians. He escaped and moved South. Wound up in Iran. The Brits worked him over pretty good as they did not believe his story. He finally got in contact with a US officer who got him identified and sent home.
