Is that a real badge? Kind of has a toy look to it, don't it?

Maybe that's because the toy badges were copies of the real thing .

Looks like one of those badges worn in the tv series: 26 Men.

No doubt about it, it looks great! But, unfortunately, it's more than likely a reproduction. There are several on ebay right now...anywhere for $3.49 to $9.49. Remember, just because it doesn't say, "Made in China" on the back, doesn't mean it isn't a repro. In fact, none of the reproductions that I've seen have "Made in China" on the back. Still, it looks neat!

But, like you said, it doesn't matter if it's a reproduction or not, you like it, it looks great, and that's all that matters. Sadly, there are some unscrupulous characters out there who are trying to pawn off badges like this as the real McCoy. They try to sell them for around $75 or more, but won't guarantee their authenticity.

Here's one just like yours...maybe even a little older looking. You'll notice that there's no "made in China" on the back. Still, it's just a reproduction worth around five bucks...if someone is willing to pay that much for it.
