Annoyed at thread drift

I'll actually be happy when the holidays are over.
After all this traveling and visitin', car shows and parades. Then all the video uploading, editing and processing, it'll be nice to get things back to normal.
Well normal for us anyway.
Get back to my diet and workout schedule. Get some leatherwork done and most importantly get some more drift time in.

Those who have lied in the drift must now face Almighty Zoltar the High Priest of the Drift.
All that have gone before him have met uncertain fates within the drift!

And well we were innocent I'm telling ya! We didn't do nothing!

May the Good Fairy of the Drift have mercy on your souls!

BigCityCheif has been debating the advantages of Taurus revolvers behind out backs!

OK, I'm confused...did you maybe mean " behind our backs", as in he is trying to conceal the fact from his Forum brethren, or did you mean Outback, the restaurant chain, like he drives around to different Outback's & meets with shady individuals to purchase black market Taurus revolvers? So? Which is it???

Saw one of these in a front yard today. Very cool. This is on my list for next Memorial Day and very appropriate since most of the soldiers in both flag raisings were subsequently killed on Iwo. Ernie Pyle was killed on a small neighboring island, Ie Shima (sp?) during this battle as well. Medal of Honor recipient John Basilone was also killed on Iwo. Many others were recipients of this medal, most posthumously, after the battle. Horrible battle with much sacrifice of life. I always shed a tear as I read the accounts of this campaign. "Uncommon valor was a common virtue."

Thanks to all who served, and on this Memorial Day, especially to those who gave all. Peace to you all.

Just pretend this is witty.

I like that. I need to get one.

BTW, those were Marines and a Navy corpsman.

Wide awake like a regular work day but I shut down today, hardly ever take Monday off but I need to do some stuff at the house . Had a lot of fun playing with the grand daughterers over the weekend but it is nice to get back to normal. Memorial Day always leaves me thinking.
