Those guns are really nice, but holy cow! You found 22 ammo?
I only have one High Standard pistol, but I think they are real neat. Nice find.

Having the magazine is only the start. Tuning them is the true art form.

I had other things on the list too.

With the High standards it varies a lot by which model it happens to be and where it was manufactured.Pretty much any good one you happen to find is worth 300.+ if that helps any.
when I was a kid I always wanted their Victor model.
Took 25 years but I finally got it

Today we function tested them.
To say it went well would be such an understatement.
They ran flawlessly and I was clearing pieces of clay pigeon with seldom a miss. The previous owner had these dialed in
The girl I mentor hunting and shooting.
She was a little pleased with the one that is hers.

I guess you qualify as an old fogey when you prefer the looks of the older designs than anything being produced now. Gotta go take my Metamucil.

I love these guns. I would shoot mine a lot more but it really puts a dent in my ammo stash.
I have heard about tuning the mag ears but have not ever had to do that yet.
Hey Paul, do all your mentored students get a gun ? I could use a mentor

I bet she keeps that one a long time. Hard to part with a high standard. The mags looked like the original follower kind. Is hers a 102 ?

She is a good shot
Was on her college rifle team.
She handles a 44 mag like a pro.
It's been my privilege to have been chosen as a mentor for her

You the Man, Paul. Great guns, and a mentor to boot.... I love your motto and passion for getting youngsters out to shoot and enjoy.
Very Cool.
