Proud new owner
I've wanted to post this pic for several years now, and finally, I have the capability. This is a rare picture. The very moment a young man realizes that he is the owner of a Smith & Wesson revolver. This was Christmas 2009, the young man is my cousin, who at the time had completed his 6 yr stint as a Navy Corpsman, about 6 months before. He had jokingly told his Mother earlier that she could just get him a S&W .357 Magnum for Christmas. I had already planned on getting him one, and was searching online. I talked with his Mother about making it happen, and she was giddy when I told her my plans. It was the last gift opened Christmas Eve, packed in a big box, that gave no clue. An excellent 65-2 was the perfect surprise.

First and foremost, thank your cousin for his service.
And, that is a happy camper! I feel the same way when I get a new S&W.

Great choice. The M65 is about as good an all purpose handgun that there is, in my opinion.

As excited as he was, he still has good trigger dicipline.
Now, explain to me what a "Team Sleep Pant" is.

Reminds me of my first pistol, a stainless Colt Python at the age of 22; shame my sample didn't match the hype and I ended up trading it for a 686 4 years later, but I was ecstatic at the time...

Let's see how close I am.
First, several years ago they dropped the S from "Pants", so it's a pair of pants.
Then, since I have also heard of "sleep shorts", I'm thinking it's the new name for pajama bottoms.
And the "TEAM" means it says "Chicago Bulls" or "New York Yankees" or something like that on 'em.

Thank you for sharing that photo.
Maybe there is hope for the future with young fellows like him coming along.
